Tomorrow, 25 November 2020, marks the International Day for Elimination of Violence against Women. This day also kicks off the "16 Days of Activism to End Gender-Based Violence "campaign, which runs until Human Rights Day on 10 December. CCHR will be participating in this campaign in order to raise awareness of women "s rights and the severe and harmful impacts of gender-based violence amongst our community, and call on the Royal Government of Cambodia to take immediate and concrete steps to end gender-based violence across the country. Across this period, CCHR also celebrates a number of other key days on the human rights calendar, including International Women Human Rights Defenders Day, International Human Rights Defenders Day and Human Rights Day, and CCHR has planned a series of activities seeking to raise awareness of the human rights situation and the efforts of human rights defenders in Cambodia. We would be honoured if you would join CCHR for these activities over the next 16 days.
